Mrs. Daughters loves teaching fourth grade at Thorton Elementary. She adores all of the students, staff and families that are part of the Thornton community. Mrs. Daughters attented Metropolitan State University and graduated with a bachelors degree in behavioral science and minor in elementary education. She has taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th and reading intervention, so far in her teaching career. She looks foward to meeting her students and having an amazing school year. Building a safe learning enviornment and a strong classroom community is her priority. Mrs. Daughters holds her students to high expectations and loves watching them learn and grow. When Mrs. Daughters is not teaching fourth grade, she is spending time enjoying the outdoors and traveling with her family.
